For example, by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, they will lose weight in no time and they will improve their heart condition. To put things in perspective, 30 minutes of taking the stairs will make you burn about 300 calories.
2. Drive AND walk to the shops. We usually drive right up to the supermarket and then spend a lot of time going around in circles, looking for a place to park. Instead of doing this every weekend, how about changing your habits? Instead of being mad about not having a place to park, leave the car before you reach the shops and walk the rest of the way. This will make you burn calories and it will also save you a lot of anguish.
3. Keep track of your eating habits. This is a great way of finding the reason or reasons why you need to lose weight in the first place. Keep a food journal of everything you eat for a week and then look it over. If you have a lot of fatty and high calorie foods on your list, mystery solved.
